United States President Donald Trump said on Thursday that he will meet with Jeffrey Goldberg, the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic.

In a social media post, the president announced that Goldberg will bring The Washington Post's reporters Michael Scherer and Ashley Parker. "They have told my representatives that the story they are writing will be entitled The Most Consequential President of this Century." I am doing this interview out of curiosity," the president said.

The meeting occurs amid tensions between Trump and Goldberg, especially following The Atlantic's report on US national-security leaders that included the journalist in a Signal group chat regarding military strikes in Yemen.
