Trump to unveil major AI investment plan

United States President Donald Trump will use his speech scheduled for later in the day to reveal his scheme to invest billions of dollars in developing artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure in the country, CBS News reported on Tuesday.

According to people familiar with the matter, the strategy included investing in Stargate, a joint venture founded by OpenAI Inc., SoftBank Group Corp., and Oracle Corporation. The three were alleged to be allocating $100 billion first and then up to $500 billion to the project.

The sources added that the companies' heads Sam Altman, Masayoshi Son, and Larry Ellison, respectively, will visit the White House later in the day to discuss the matter.
