Trump urges Iran to stop supplying the Houthis

US President Donald Trump has urged Iran to immediately stop its military supplies to the Houthi rebels in Yemen. In a post on Truth Social on Wednesday, Trump highlighted that although Iran had scaled back its support, it continued to send substantial supplies.

"Iran must stop the sending of these Supplies IMMEDIATELY," he demanded, suggesting that the Houthis should fight independently, which would lead to their quick defeat. Trump warned that the situation would only worsen for the Houthis, who, he claimed, would face complete annihilation. "Let the Houthis fight it out themselves. Either way, they lose, but this way they lose quickly," he said.

This follows a stern warning issued by Trump earlier this week, where he declared that any future Houthi attacks would be considered Iranian aggression. "Every shot fired by the Houthis will be looked upon as a shot fired from the weapons and leadership of IRAN," he stated, vowing severe consequences for Iran's continued support of the rebels.
