Former United States President Donald Trump is projected to emerge victorious in the New Hampshire Republican primary, consolidating his lead over former US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, the AP projected shortly after the polls closed.

Trump secured at least 11 of the state's 19 delegates, putting him at 31 delegates out of 1,215 needed for the nomination, compared to Haley's 16 delegates.

Although the margin of his victory remains undisclosed, his decisive win in Iowa last week, where he secured over 50% of the vote, underscores his support.
