United States President Donald Trump said the "big beautiful bill" that is currently in the works could be "bigger than tariffs."
The president praised the US Senate Majority Leader John Thune for his work on the legislation, adding that the Democrats are "trying to stop it at every turn," warning it would mean a "58% tax hike if they were successful."
Trump reiterated that the proposed spending bill would mean the "biggest tax cut in American history."
