United States President Donald Trump said on Thursday that the Boeing Company should "default China" for not taking the "beautifully finished planes" it promised to buy.
"This is just a small example of what China has done to the USA, for years … And, by the way, Fentanyl continues to pour into our Country from China, through Mexico and Canada, killing hundreds of thousands of our people, and it better stop, NOW!" Trump wrote in a post on X.
Recently, China decided to return the planes the country ordered from Boeing amid the trade war with Washington. Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg told CNBC that some 50 planes were supposed to be shipped to Beijing, which likely won't be happening.
