Trump: FBI should give me back documents

Former United States President Donald Trump claimed at a rally in Nevada that the FBI should give him back the documents taken from his Mar-a-Lago residence, which he removed from the White House after the end of his presidency. "I'm allowed to keep what I want, it's personal," he claimed.

Trump also alleged that, under the Presidential Records Act, he is allowed to negotiate what documents he wants to keep. He accused the US of running a "two-tiered system of justice," claiming other former presidents were allowed to keep "millions" of documents in unguarded warehouses.
