Trump: I have no allegiance to anybody in Ukraine war

US President Donald Trump emphasized on Thursday that he has "no allegiance to anybody" in the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine during his discussions with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store at the Oval Office.

"Very simply, I have no allegiance to anybody. I have allegiance to saving lives, I want to save a lot of lives," Trump responded.

When questioned about further Russian sanctions, Trump said that he would "prefer to answer questions about Russia sanctions in a week. You have no idea what pressure I’m putting on Russia. We're putting a lot of pressure on Russia."
