United States President Donald Trump said on Wednesday he believes his administration will be able to find an appropriate solution to the TikTok issue.
"I think we'll be able to save TikTok," Trump told reporters at the White House. However, he said that the model applied to Japan's Nippon Steel Corp. cannot be used in the TikTok case. "We'll have to do it properly. We'll probably have to get China's approval," he said.
Furthermore, the president stressed that China is "never easy" for negotiations, but he reiterated his hope that the US officials can reach a deal.
