Former United States President Donald Trump noted at the Libertarian National Convention in Washington DC that, if he is re-elected in November, he will ensure that "the history of crypto and the history of Bitcoin" will be made in his country, "not driven overseas."
"I will support the right to self-custody to the nation's 15 million crypto holders," he insisted, adding he will "never allow the creation of a central bank digital currency."
Furthermore, Trump accused his successor Joe Biden of seeking to "crash" cryptocurrencies.
