Trump: I will never stop fighting

"I will never stop fighting," former US President Donald Trump said Saturday at a rally in North Carolina while reflecting on the future of his political career and the 2024 election.

His remarks come after he was indicted on 37 counts in total in an indictment unsealed last Friday. The charges followed an investigation by special counsel Jack Smith into Trump's handling of government documents.

"We're going to stand up ... And we're going to finish the job that we so successfully started," he mentioned. On the same topic, and before the rally, Trump promised to continue running for president even if convicted.
