United States President Donald Trump said on Thursday that Elon Musk expressed no objection to abolishing the electric vehicle mandate at first, as long as the policy change affects all industry players equally.
"I asked Musk about abolishing the EV mandate," the leader disclosed. "He told me he's fine with it as long as it impacts everyone," Trump noted, adding that the billionaire was "very honest" about the issue.
Trump then announced that he "wants to talk to Musk about EVs," in a move that comes after the tech mogul stated he does regret some things he said about the American head of state.
