Former United States President Donald Trump stated in a post on Truth Social that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has to be equal regarding financial aid given to Ukraine.

Trump stressed the fact that the US is paying $100 billion more than NATO in financial aid to the country, adding that during his presidency he made NATO "pay up." He went on to exclaim that "NATO has to equalize, and now."

"They will do that if properly asked," Trump wrote, adding that if they do not pay their "fair share," he will prioritize the US over NATO.
