Former President Donald Trump bragged about being the toughest politician on Russia during his presidential term.

Speaking to Fox News host Sean Hannity in Harrisburg on Wednesday claimed that he managed to close the Nord Stream pipelines from Russia to Germany, warning Germany that US will not protect the country from Russian while at the same time receiving energy from it.

"And I said no way. I said to Germany: There's no way we're going to protect you with NATO and spend millions of dollars protecting Europe and you guys are going to be buying oil from the person and the group that we're protecting you from. And I shut it down. It was 100% shutdown," he insisted.
