United States President Donald Trump said on Friday that the people who were accused of targeting Tesla dealerships are "terrorists" and noted that there will be no pardons for them.
"I view these people as terrorists just like others. When I looked at those showrooms burning and those cars, not one or two, but like seven, eight, ten, burning, exploding all over the place. These are terrorists. You didn't have that on January 6, I can tell you, you didn't have anything like that on January 6," Trump told reporters, noting that the people financing these events are "just as big a trouble as the people lighting the matches."
Trump noted that the situation is under "very serious" investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the US Department of Justice, claiming that there will be "no leniency and no pardons" for those convicted.
