United States President Donald Trump revealed on Friday that reaching an agreement on a peaceful settlement of the Ukraine conflict is "close enough."
The leader was addressing the press with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky before their bilateral meeting. Trump told reporters he was waiting for the "exciting moment" when the parties involved reached a deal, claiming he expects it to come soon.
"Once the deal is over, Russia won't want to return," the American head of state stressed.
