United States President Donald Trump urged Russia on Friday "to get moving," stating that "too many people are dying" in Ukraine.

"Thousands a week, in a terrible and senseless war - A war that should have never happened, and wouldn’t have happened, if I were President!!!" Trump continued in his post on TruthSocial.

Meanwhile, US Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff is visiting Russia and is expected to meet with President Vladimir Putin. The Kremlin was cautious about potential breakthroughs, however, noting that the ongoing diplomatic contacts aim to normalize the relations between the two countries.
