Trump: Things to work out very well with Canada

United States President Donald Trump expressed hope on Friday that economic relations with Canada will improve after a "good call" with Prime Minister Mark Carney.

Speaking confidently about the direction of trade relations, Trump underscored that he believes "things are going to work out very well with Canada." However, the American head of state also stressed he would "absolutely" uphold his previous commitment to impose tariffs if Ottawa agrees to deliver on its policy on retaliatory measures.
