United States President Donald Trump stated on Thursday that talks between Washington and Beijing were "only a bit off track" last week, adding that everything is fine now.

Speaking to journalists at the White House with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz by his side, Trump described negotiations with China as "complex." "We had a very good conversation with [Chinese] President Xi [Jinping] a little while ago," he revealed, insisting that "complexities" have been straightened out.

The US head of state detailed that the main topic was issues surrounding rare-earth magnets.
