United States President Donald Trump pointed out during his address at the Department of Justice (DoJ) on Friday that he's had "very good responses" from Russia on the ceasefire with Ukraine.
"I think we are doing well as you have been hearing about Ukraine. I think we are doing now well with Russia. We are speaking with President Putin. We want to get that war over ... We are looking for the ceasefire now with Russia and we've had some very good talks about it. We've had some very good responses," he added.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his support for the concept of a ceasefire in Ukraine. However, he mentioned that there are still some "questions" surrounding the specifics of such an agreement. This comes in response to a proposal for a 30-day ceasefire, which Ukraine consented to earlier this week after discussions with the United States.
