The Republican nominee in the 2024 United States presidential election Donald Trump said he is worried about the possibility of a world war breaking out, adding that it could end in a "nuclear holocaust."

Addressing the crowd during a rally in Las Vegas, Trump stated he was the only one capable of keeping the US out of "World War Three." The former president criticized the current US leadership as "incompetent," saying "our people have no idea what they're doing."

Trump previously described the Green New Deal as a "Green New Scam," saying the money to finance the project would require "more money than every country in the world has." The former president also remarked that he is not worried about what he described as unfulfilled predictions about the environment killing us in 12 years, adding that it "was a scam to get more money."
