British International Trade Secretary Liz Truss (pictured) stressed on Thursday the United Kingdom was "by no means entirely focused" on reaching a trade agreement with the United States.
The secretary added Britain was hoping to reach a deal with Canada by the end of the year and expressed her hopes London and Ottawa's relations on the commerce could go "much further" in the future.
Earlier this month, the Trade Ministry stated the agreement with Washington was "on track" and "in a good position to move forward after the US election."
