Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan revealed on Thursday that tomorrow, August 2, the country will have a day of national mourning following the latest events that took place in the Middle East.
"In order to show our support for the Palestinian Cause, a day of national mourning has been declared tomorrow," due to the killing of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh, Erdogan shared in a statement.
Haniyeh was killed during his visit to Iran, with reports claiming that an explosive device was planted in the Tehran guesthouse, where he was staying.
