The Turkish government reiterates its support for the Russian presence in the international negotiations to look for a peace agreement, Ria Novosti reported on Thursday, citing a diplomatic source.
The source also mentioned that not all the countries involved in the conversations agree with Moscow's presence; however, the Turkish informant noted that, from their side, they have emphasized that "the presence of the Russian side is necessary to achieve progress in the negotiation process. Unfortunately, not all of our partners support this position."
In June, discussions about Ukraine were held in Copenhagen by G7 countries, BRICS states, and Ukraine. The talks focused on implementing Kiev's peace formula. Later, Russia expressed readiness for negotiations on the Ukraine crisis and highlighted that Moscow will not consider proposals for a ceasefire.
