The Turkish Foreign Ministry strongly criticized Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz accusing President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of anti-Semitism, calling the remarks "disrespectful and baseless." The ministry argued his claims were an attempt to cover up the "crimes committed by Netanyahu and his associates."

Ankara warned that such statements raised concerns that Israel would intensify its actions in Gaza and destabilize other countries in the region. The ministry also said Israeli officials' "propaganda efforts" would not weaken Turkey's commitment to "speaking the truth."
