Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk made a statement on Tuesday, urging both the United States and Ukraine not to waste the opportunity to advance in ending the war. "Dear Americans, dear Ukrainians, don’t waste this chance. The whole world is watching you in Jeddah today. Good luck!" he said in a post on X.

This statement comes as high-stakes talks between the US and Ukraine began in Jeddah. The Ukrainian delegation, led by Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, and Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, are meeting with US officials, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, and Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff.

The discussions follow a similar meeting held last month between US and Russian representatives and come as Ukraine launched a major offensive overnight, attacking Russian positions with over 300 drones.
