Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk shared on Sunday his thoughts with regard to the initial projections of the French legislative election.
According to early results, a left-green coalition going by the name of the New Popular Front is currently expected to garner the most seats in the French National Assembly, with the number between 172 and 192. While French President Emmanuel Macron's centrist alliance is anticipated to get 150-170 seats, the far-right National Rally, which won the first round, fell to third place and is now seen earning 132-152 seats.
Looking at the results, Tusk commented that this brings "enthusiasm" to Paris, "disappointment" to Moscow, and "relief" to Kiev.
