The judge handling the case Twitter v. Musk trial said Wednesday in a procedural ruling that she will "continue to press on toward our trial." The decision comes after both sides are in conversations to close the deal allowing Musk to take over the company at $54.20 per share.
"The parties have not filed a stipulation to stay this action, nor has any party moved for a stay. I, therefore, continue to press on toward our trial set to begin on October 17, 2022," read the court statement.
Yesterday, it was known that Musk submitted a filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), confirming that conversations were held between both parties.
