United Arab Emirates' second flag carrier Etihad Airways announced on Monday it will begin daily scheduled year-round flights to Tel Aviv from March 28, 2021.
The UAE and Israel signed a normalization agreement on September 15 in Washington and subsequently a visa-free travel regime deal.
"The commencement of scheduled flights is a historic moment and as an airline, cements Etihad's commitment to growing opportunities for trade and tourism not just between the two countries but also within the region and beyond," Etihad Aviation Group's COO Mohammad Al Bulooki said in the press release.
