United Kingdom Foreign Secretary David Cameron (pictured) met with former United States President Donald Trump ahead of his trip to Washington DC, The Telegraph reported.
The two officials supposedly discussed the current conflict in Ukraine and the situation in the Middle East, whilst also touching upon the future of the the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), according to a government official cited by the news agency. The official downplayed the visit by stating that it is "standard practice" for UK ministers to meet with opposition leaders ahead of presidential elections.
The meeting came ahead of Cameron's trip to Washington DC, where he is expected to hold talks with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and express his support for Ukraine.
