UK's MI5 website hit wit DoS attacks - media

BBC reported on Friday that United Kingdom's Security Service, otherwise known as MI5, was hit by cyber-attacks this morning.

"The MI5 website has briefly and intermittently been hit by a denial-of-service [DoS] attacks... when someone bombarded the website with traffic to try to take it offline." the BBC anchor shared. The anchor further noted that "the group Russian anonymous claims that it's behind this attack."

BBC stated that the hackers "did not get inside the website or managed to deface it."
