Production output in the United Kingdom increased 0.3% in November 2023 month on month, the Office for National Statistics revealed in its report on Friday. On an annual level, the reading slipped 0.1%.
The main contributors to the monthly rise were manufacturing, which added 0.4%, and mining and quarrying, alongside electricity and gas, which grew 1.3% and 0.2% respectively. On the other hand, water supply and sewerage declined by 1%.
In the three months to November 2023, production output tumbled 1.5% compared to the previous three-month period.
