Noem cooperating with Musk on efficiency

United States Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem revealed on Sunday that her department is working with Elon Musk, who is currently running the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), to improve efficiency.

"We're working with them at the president's direction to find what we can do to make our department much more efficient. So this is essentially an audit of the federal government, which is very powerful," she remarked while appearing on CNN's "State of the Union."

She stated that her agency needs to be "shrunk," adding that she will be going through "who is fulfilling their mission and who isn't," cutting those who aren't committed to the country's safety.
