Production output in the United Kingdom decreased by 0.7% in July compared to the previous month, the Office for National Statistics revealed in a report on Wednesday.
The report revealed that the main contributor to July's output decrease was manufacturing, which went down by 0.8%. Water supply and sewerage slowed by 0.5%, while electricity and gas declined by 1.5%.
For the three months to July 2023, production output rose by 0.6%, compared with the three months to April, with manufacturing leading the growth and rising by 1.7%
