Production output in the United Kingdom increased by 1.8% in June compared to the previous month, the Office for National Statistics revealed in a report on Friday.
According to the data, manufacturing contributed most to the rise, climbing 2.4%. A smaller contribution came from water supply and sewerage, while electricity and gas remained unchanged and mining and quarrying production declined.
In the second quarter, production output was up by 0.7% compared to the first trimester of 2023.
