The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) on Saturday disclosed a security incident approximately 42 kilometers west of al-Makha, Yemen.

Military authorities provided no further information as the are incident is currently being investigated to obtain the details and implications of the breach.

The area in question witnessed frequent attacks by the Houthi rebels targeting both cargo and military ships.
