Retail sales volumes in the United Kingdom in June rose 0.7% compared to the month prior, the Office for National Statistics revealed in its report on Friday.
In the reported month, non-food stores sales volumes were up 1% and food stores sales volumes added 0.7%. Non-store retailing sales volumes saw a growth of 0.2%, while automotive fuel stores sales volumes declined 0.3%.
On an annual level, retail sales fell 1%. In the three months ending June retail sales increased 0.4% quarter on quarter.
