British Prime Minister Liz Truss (pictured) promised before the United Nations to maintain military aid to Ukraine amid the most recent escalation in the conflict.
"At this crucial moment in the conflict, I pledge that we will sustain or increase our military support to Ukraine for as long as it takes," said Truss in what was her first international speech as prime minister.
Besides, she also took the opportunity to explain her plans for Britain. "We want people to keep more of the money they earn, so they can have more control of their own lives and contribute to the future," Truss told the gathering.
