The United Kingdom's total goods and services trade deficit increased by £4.2 billion to reach £10.2 billion in the three months to December, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) shared in its report on Friday.
The trade in goods deficit climbed £4.8 billion to £59.5 billion in the fourth quarter of 2024, while the trade in services surplus is estimated to have increased by £0.6 billion to £49.3 billion.
Total goods exports for the reported three-month period declined by £3.5 billion to land at £86.4 billion. Meanwhile, goods imports jumped by £1.3 billion, reaching £145.9 billion.
