Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed on Monday that his government and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) are advancing conversations for an initiative to direct funds worth of €100 billion during five years, in support of the conflict against Russia.
During a joint conference, Zelensky stated that Russia is preparing for a "stronger" offensive, and additional assistance from allies is urgently needed "to defeat" Moscow's plans.
North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg highlighted the support already approved by United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and Netherlands as a crucial move to keep on helping Kiev while asserting that the possibility of an announcement on Ukraine's membership to NATO in summer is still under consideration.
