UK: Explosion near vessel east of Djibouti

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported on Sunday that an explosion occurred near a vessel 70 nautical miles (130 kilometers) east of the port of Djibouti.

The unnamed vessel suffered no damage, and the ship's captain reported no harm came to the crew as a result of the explosion.

The attack came following the United States and United Kingdom strikes on 18 Houthi targets in Yemen on Saturday.
