The United Kingdom Ministry of Defense claimed on Sunday that, over the past 14 days, the Russian military's "rate of casualties" likely reached its highest point since the initial week of the "invasion" of Ukraine.
Although the ministry warned it cannot verify information on Russian losses by the Ukrainian military, it said that "the trends the data illustrate are likely accurate" and added that Ukraine itself "also continues to suffer a high attrition rate."
"Lack of trained personnel, coordination, and resources across the front" are the most likely contributors to the recent increase in casualties among Russian military personnel, according to the British defense ministry.
