Russia may be forced to change refueling operations following a series of damage to its military fuel storage and distribution network, the UK Ministry of Defense suggested in its latest intelligence report on the situation in Ukraine on Thursday.
According to the report, the fire that broke on 3 May 2023 at a Russian fuel depot in Volna followed a pattern of damages, especially in "occupied Ukraine and the Russian-Ukraine border regions."
These issues "will likely force adjustments to Russia's military refueling operations to mitigate targeting," including the deployment of additional protective measures at fuel storage sites.
