UN: 23 civilians killed in Gaza on Thursday

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said that at least 23 people in Gaza were killed on Thursday as a result of Israeli strikes. Around 20,000 civilians were located in four UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) facilities that were targeted in the last 24 hours.

Since the start of the current conflict, 72 UNRWA staff have been killed and 50 facilities have been damaged. In total, nearly 1.5 million people in Gaza are internally displaced, with over 690,400 sheltering in 149 UNRWA facilities, OCHA said.
