United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugee Affairs Director Thomas White said on Monday in a social media post that due to no fuel being allowed to enter Gaza "the humanitarian operation ... will grind to a halt in the next 48 hours."

"This morning two of our main water distribution contractors ceased working – they simply ran out of fuel – which will deny 200 thousand people potable water," he wrote further.

White reminded his audience that there has been no fuel entering into the area since October 7.
