The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine (UNRWA) stated on Monday in a social media post on X that information pouring in over Israel's most recent actions in Rafah is "horrifying."

"There are reports of mass causalities including children and women among those killed," the agency wrote, adding that families "seeking shelter" were affected by the attack.

UNRWA labeled the Gaza Strip as "hell on earth," stating that the images from last night's strike "are yet another testament to that." It was further mentioned that the agency is unable to contact its staff on the ground. "We are not able to confirm their location & are extremely concerned for their wellbeing, and the wellbeing of all the displaced people sheltering in this area," UNRWA detailed, remarking that no place and no individual is safe.
