The vote on a draft resolution of non-permanent members of the UN Security Council demanding an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip for the month of Ramadan has been postponed from Saturday to Monday, RIA Novosti reported, citing sources in the Security Council.

Earlier, Russia and China vetoed a US-sponsored resolution in the UN Security Council calling for an "immediate ceasefire," amid accusations from Russia's UN Ambassador Vasily Nebenzya, who criticized the language of the resolution and accused US officials of politicizing the issue for misleading reasons.
