The United Parcel Service Inc. (UPS) stated on Thursday in a press release that it would be acquiring Andlauer Healthcare Group Inc. (AHG) for $1.6 billion. AHG shareholders will receive 55 Canadian dollars per share in cash.
"This transaction will extend the global portfolio of end-to-end cold chain capabilities available to UPS Healthcare customers, who increasingly seek temperature-controlled and precision logistics solutions," UPS commented.
The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2025 and is subject to the approval of AHG shareholders and other customary regulatory reviews. AHG's controlling shareholder has already given the green light for the deal to be realized.
