US 10-year yield hits lowest level since October

The 10-year US Treasury note yield dropped to 4.04% on Thursday morning, its lowest level since October 2024, as investors reacted to US President Donald Trump's sweeping new tariffs.

At 8:44 am ET, the benchmark 10-year note dropped 15.9 basis points to 4.036%. Meanwhile, the 30-year yield went down 10.5 basis points to 4.445%, and the 2-year note yield plunged 14.2 to 3.762%.
