The US 2-year Treasury note yield sank to its lowest level since September 2022 on Monday. The steep drop comes amid a global financial rout driven by renewed trade tensions following President Donald Trump's latest wave of tariffs.
As of 3:46 am ET, the 2-year note experienced the most significant decline among major maturities, falling 20 basis points to 3.46%. Meanwhile, the 10-year Treasury yield declined by 7.5 basis points to 3.914%, while the 30-year yield slipped 1.9 basis points to 4.372%.
